St. Teresa’s Parent Association is the structure through which the parents in the school can work together for the best possible education for their children.
The Parent Association works with the Principal, staff and the Board of Management to build effective partnership between home and school.
Partnership between home and the school is important because with positive and active partnership your child gets the best that primary education can offer.
All parents in the school are automatically members of the Parents’ Association and you are
encouraged to become an active member. Elections for officer positions on the committee are held
once per year, in September at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Parents’ Association.
Meetings of the Parents’ Association Committee are held monthly in the school.
The current officers elected to the Parents’ Association Committee are:
Audrey Myers (Chairperson)
Sean McCann (Secretary and NPC Representative)
Marie Therese Walshe (Treasurer)
Gary Healy (Vice Chairperson and Social Media)
Ruth McArdle (Vice Secretary and PRO)
Siobhan Dunn (Vice Treasurer)
Therese Gaskin (Teachers’ Representative)
Stella Healy (Member)
James Oakley (Member)
Niamh Carroll (Member)
